Info For Sending a Printing Project to COPY COPY
Conifer
Payment Terms: We do not expect payment until you receive your completed
project. In addition to cash and checks we do accept Mastercard, Visa, American
Express and Discover Cards. If you would like to set up a business account
we will process the paperwork quickly and get your account started.
Getting Your Project Started: We will be happy to provide you with
a quote over the phone, but would prefer to talk to you in person, visualize
your final result, and offer a variety of solutions to meet your needs. We
feel that we can give you the best price when we have a solid understanding
of your needs.
You can create your own document for reproduction at COPY COPY, or you can
hire us to lay it out from your rough draft. If you would like to provide the
original design we can accept either hard copy or a digital file.
Providing Hard Copy: If you have a good quality printer, then providing
us with a hard copy may be the best way to go. Using this method you can avoid
computer charges and have a pretty good idea about how your document will print.
Digital Files: We are able to receive your documents over
email in PDF format or one of the leading word processing, page layout
and image processing programs. Please check with us to make sure that we have
the fonts that are in the document or include the fonts with your email. Please
give us a call and let us know that the email is on its way. If your document
is larger then 12 MB you can upload it via ftp to
us.
Here are a few details to bear in mind:
Our production machines use three sizes of paper: letter (8 1/2 X 11), legal
(8 1/2 X 14), and ledger (11 x 17). If you have a form, postcard, invitation,
etc., you can save money by getting more than one on a page. We commonly
run jobs that are half a letter size page (8 1/2 X 5 1/2) as two up, one
third of a page (8 1/2 X 3) as three up, and one fourth of a page (4 1/4
X 5 1/2) as four up.
The one-fourth of a page size can be used for postcards. Even
though it is a little smaller than the standard postcard size it is legal
for postcard postage, and is very economical. Of course, we can cut to whatever
size you want.
If your project is a three fold brochure on letter size paper, the panel sizes
should be 8.5 x 3.5 Be sure that the front and back of your brochure line up
properly for folding. ( Try folding one.)
